2011 BEAC Driving School
The Boeing Employees' Autosports Club (BEAC) will be presenting a performance driving and autocross school on May 12th and 14th. Classroom session is on Thursday evening (12th), instructred driving practice is Saturday (14th) all day. Fee of $40 includes classroom training, on-site driving instruction, hands-on driving practice, and box lunch to be provided by BEAC.
Topics covered will include:
- Car control fundamentals
- Handling characteristics
- Driving techniques
- Do’s and Don’ts
- Competition driving
- Autocross events
Pre-registration is required by 5/2, and a brief safety inspection will be performed on the car you bring. Location for the classroom session will be room 202 in the Oxbow Recreation Center, building 9-150 just off of E. Marginal Way near the D.C. (Development Center). Driving Practice will be held at the Shelton Airport (Sanderson Field) on Saturday 5/14.

BEAC is an official Boeing Recreation administered club. Annual dues are $12 (individual), $15 (family).
Shelton Airport (Sanderson Field): MAP
The easiest way from the north is I-5 to Olympia (Exit 104), then follow HWY 101 north to Shelton. HWY 101 runs right past Sanderson field (The Shelton Airport). You want the industrial park entrance -- second one (and last) coming from the south.
